Required skills and experience:

  • Two plus years of experience writing for corporate websites or eCommerce sites
  • Bachelor degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Understanding of digital content styles, the content lifecycle and content marketing
  • Basic understanding of XML and HTML
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across several internal departments

Job duties will include:

Senior Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Strategist

Senior Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Strategist

Spyder Trap is seeking a Senior Search Engine Marketing Strategist with three plus years of experience to join our digital marketing team. Beyond plain experience, we want a true digital marketer who can sculpt, build, test, explain and execute strategies to both internal and client teams. This person should be a search marketing fanatic and in tune with the constantly changing landscape that Google, Bing and online marketing platforms embody. The Senior SEM Strategist role at Spyder Trap will focus on Paid Search Marketing, Local Search Marketing and Analytics but have the opportunity to become a well-rounded search marketing maniac. Spyder Trap works with clients of all sizes and industries in both B2B and B2C.

Required skills and experience:

  • 3+ years experience in search marketing, paid search marketing and local search
  • Google AdWords, Bing Ads and Google Analytics experience required
  • Experience strategizing, implementing, and optimizing paid search campaigns including Text Ads, Display Ads and Shopping
  • Google AdWords and Google Analytics Certifications ideal, but not required (you will be required to obtain these certifications upon hire at Spyder Trap’s expense)
  • Hands-on knowledge of best practices in SEM

  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate complex content processes, standards and best practices to clients

Account Strategist

Account Strategist

The Account Strategist will work with the sales team to identify and help develop strategic partnerships with new and existing clients by identifying new opportunities. This position will manage new online marketing opportunities from lead generation through project discovery/kickoff, and will work in conjunction with Project Managers to ensure that all projects are being completed on time, within budget, and that the project meets client expectations. The Account Strategist will report directly to the Director of Client Strategy.

Outline of duties:

  • Identify, pitch, and close new business accounts
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales goals
